Anyone watching Seal Team on CBS

I watched the 1st season last year and thought it was just ok but well acted. So far this year in season 2 they have been killing it just exceptional writing. Three episodes ago they had an episode on loss and all the emotions and toll it takes on families that was as powerful as anything I have seen on TV in a while. Highly recommend that episode for anyone.

A little disappointed structurally with last night.

Most of it was very very good, but the speech from the daughter was clearly a repurposed generic speech for a military spouse. Fare to world-weary and mature for the daughter character. It even retained a hint of romantic motivation that they tried to convert to familial love.

A minor quibble, but it still stood out.

Oh, and the special guest star role for the 2019 Sierra tailgate

Yeah that tailgate is pretty sweet and when you get my age you know why. Now the bad thats probably a a very expensive option I would say no to and just use a foot stool.

Why are there so many Cop/Fire/Dr/Lawyer/CSI/SpecialOp shows?

They're the only genre of shows on network TV anymore.

I hate those CSI shows all the actors in a fight for lines. Network TV has always been full of cop and lawyer shows. Honestly last year was the first I have seen of the spec ops shows most failed. This one made it and seems to be a hit of course to each their own. Beats the dancin singing cooking and survivor series IMO.

Really enjoyed this season so far. I did not expect it to be such an emotional rollercoaster.
