Netflix:Wild Wild Country

Have only watched two episodes but this is a fascinating show/documentary...very well made. 8.6 rating on IMDb

I think Netflix has another Docu-series winner on it's hands...

Many think he was the greatest modern Indian philosopher...the conservative press/redneck locals tried to frame them as a cult.

Interesting...I guess I liked watching the intricacies of how this whole scenario evolved/escalated and the players involved.

Too each, his own...

This - I think 2-3hrs would have been good enough.

Also, with all the footage / accounts available from 1981-1985, I feel like it didn't really dive into anything specific at all. Just touched upon all points so you got the gist of things to get by.

I just watched it. Pretty crazy shit. Like REALLY crazy shit. Like what in the actual **** crazy shit.

Cults are fascinating. It is truly remarkable how they were around this asshat and convinced himself that the reason they were happy was because of said asshat.

Just remarkable.

I used to think the same thing when I was a kid and my parents would put money into the offering plate at church. Still haven't found a way to shut down all the cults, though, I suppose...
