Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Here is the podcast where Louis Riddick says he thinks Mahomes will be better than Luck, Wentz, Mariota, Winston, etc.... http://www.espn.com/espnradio/play?id=23564473

He joins the show at around 32:00, Mahomes part is just a couple minutes after that.

You guys are focused on the interception, which I didn't even mention. Instead, he can't hit guys in practice without pads and no rush. I believe Mahomes will be good but this belief that he's an instant pro is just ridiculous. You'll see. 2nd year I'll be much more optimistic.

The NFL has seen plenty of QBs in recent years become instant sensations in their first year of starting for their teams.

There is no reason why Mahomes can't do the same. Yeah, he might not, but you also forget that Andy Reid is also in his corner. That guy could probably find a way to get a team to trade for Tyler ****ing Palko.

I’ll believe this when I see it. Wentz is generational..not comparing these 2 until I see some evidence.

Generational? Jesus that’s rich.

The dude had a really good year. But we’ve already saw Mahomes make throws that very few can. It’s not like Wentz can make any that Mahomes can’t.

Yep...Guy doubled Wilson's career best (150 yards) in his first start and threw for 730 yards in a single game but cant hit guys in practice. Did you miss those darts with defenders hanging on his legs?

People are ****ing stupid, Jesus...and Chief fans should terrorize that beat reporter's page for all the negative shit he spews. It's all that jack-**** knows how to do...and perpetuates a poor national narrative for KC. None of the other ESPN AFCW reporters take a predominantly negative bent on the team they follow.

Teicher created this story...it's OTAs not training camp.

So we can call Mahomes generational already with zero career TD’s but Wentz hasn’t done enough?

Who said Mahomes was generational?

They both could be, but I don’t think either has done enough to warrant the label. That is extreme praise for any player at any position.
