Shifty horizontal style reciever with toughness and grit. This is an underneath zone buster style of WR. We're seeing a shift in KC's approach.

It's clear to the NFL how good KC is vertically. We're moving towards small ball to set up deep routes. This is evident in the Noah Powell pick as well. Plus Mahomes commented that he's working on "efficiency." That's checking it down, Brady Ball, in KC terms. Kinda sux but we have to. We gotta be a complete team.

This pickup has potential value. Once Deshaun Watson settles in with a new team, Chiefs could get a 5th round pick for the kid if he is willing to become a massage therapist.

I dont think you can say its a change in philosophy because of a camp body who hasnt played in two years.
