Could we beat the Jets with only our defense?

If we let the Jets be on offense the entire game and our offense never takes the field could we beat the Jets with only our defense?

I think the Chiefs should rest all their players for a week and have a local pee wee team suit up in Chiefs gear. They should have no problem manhandling the Jets.

Yes. No problem.

You guys need to look at that Jets roster and see just who's even available to play on Sunday; it's not pretty. WR Breshaud Perriman may not even play (concussion protocol), and he might be the best offensive player on that whole team. Pretty much every starting offensive player on that team would be a 2, 3, or a 4 on even an average NFL roster. With the exception of their LT. I don't think any of them with the exception of Becton would make it onto the Chiefs roster; most probably wouldn't make it onto KC's practice squad.

And I think it's about the same for their defense. They have basically one decent player in Quinnen Williams, and that's about it.

So is our defense playing offense and special teams or we just give the Jets the ball every time?

Let's not be silly. They are a professional football team. They won't win, but they will more than likely at least score.

My hope is that Henne takes over in the 2nd half.
