Hello there, Spott. So, in the original Star Trek there was an episode titled "Space Seed" in which Captain Kirk and the brave crew of the Federation Starship ENTERPRISE encountered a "sleeper" ship from the 20th century.

Aboard this ship were, suspended in cryogenic storage, the last remants of a race of genetically created superman from Earth's eugenics wars, a conflict that saw one man, Khan Noonien Singh, control over a quarter of Europe and Asia during the fighting.

Khan and his followers were defeated and forced to escape Earth to the stars, only to be awakened by the crew of the Enterprise, who had no idea they were very bad men.

Kirk eventually defeated Khan and marooned him on Ceti Alpha V as punishment.

HOWEVER, years later, Khan was ACCIDENTALLY FOUND by a Federation starship on Ceti Alpha V, and he proceeded to hijack that ship - the USS Reliant.

Khan then set upon his quest for vengeance, on the man who had marooned him, Captain James T. Kirk.

And they made a movie about that.

I’ve actually never seen any of the Star Trek movies although I’m old enough to immediately think of Fantasy Island when I see Khan.
