It hit him and at the minimum, there was zero definitive proof that it didn't. No fcking way can the refs overturn that.

And it DID matter. Because we killed 2+ mins of game time to score a TD which we would have needed late in the game. Maybe we go for a TD as opposed to tying it for overtime.

It matters a lot - don't be stupid. It cost time. It meant the Defense had to go back on the field. It would have stopped Patriots momentum. Given our Offense momentum. A lot of things are affected by it.

I thought it hit his right thumb, but on the frontal angle it hit his left. I can't see how that could have been overturned.

I'm 90 percent sure that it missed him, which is just a tough break for us. But am I sure enough that I would have overturned the call on the field? 90 percent is not 100 percent.

I'm not going to complain about the officiating in this game, though. We lost because we were clueless in the first half and because we lost a coin flip in a league that now scores like basketball. If we won the coin flip, we'd be going to the Super Bowl. But the boring overexposed team that everyone hates won the coin flip so they're going.

It was inconclusive. His left hand was on the ground under the ball. The announcers concentrated on his thumbs but they should have looked at his hand.
