Based on the fact that Gase has not successfully developed a QB with the five NFL franchises he has worked with as a QB Coach/Offensive Assistant/OC/HC.

What young talented QB did he fail to develop?

You realize people said this same thing about Reid (outside of McNabb) for the last several years, right? Reid didn’t have another opportunity till just now.

Yes Gase is still a relative unknown, but he’s young and his offense isn’t from the Stone Age. His offense doesn’t lack creativity like McCarthy’s and he has proven more in terms of giving his QB a run game to support the passing game. McCarthy’s offenses are the same every single year, no running game and no surprises/creativity in the passing game.

I’m not saying Gase has actually proven anything. I’m saying he got a raw deal with a shit organization while McCarthy underachieved more than any HC I’ve ever seen with an elite QB. I have more hope that Gase’s best years are ahead of him. Is McCarthy somehow going to have more success with a QB that’s not going to be anywhere near as good as the one he had for a decade?

Both coached former HOF QB’s. One was loved/respected, while the other was ran off by his. That means something whether you want to admit it or not. Funny how Landry and Ajayi’s opinions matter more than Manning and Rodgers to you guys.

JFC you are a dumbshit. I am pretty sure there was another QB... some guy in Green Bay who Andy Reid was credited with helping to develop...

Those people I was referring to didn’t give Reid credit for that. They obviously gave it to Holmgren as Reid wasn’t even the QB coach till after Favre’s first few years.

Are you too stupid to realize that I’m not talking about my personal opinion?

Are these the same "people" who are telling you that Adam Gase has successfully developed an NFL QB, even though in reality he has failed to do so with the five franchises he has coached at?

You should probably stop listening to the voices in your head, errrr the "people" telling you incorrect information.

Are you honestly suggesting that before this year there weren’t people saying Reid’s QB whisperer label was oversated? I know several CP members used to say as much.

You really are a butt****ing moron.

You continue to ignore certain points I’ve made in your replies, so I’m done having this discussion.

No you tapped out by ignoring 90% of my post because you don’t have a legitimate rebuttal to all of my points.

How a Chiefs fan doesn’t remember people questioning Reid’s QB whisperer label over the past few years is beyond me.

Also, what qualifies as “credible”? Pretty sure your rep and consistently bad takes make you not so credible yourself.

Shit I STILL question that bullshit. Are you ****ing kidding me??? I mean, the guy is obviously a step above your average coach in that department, but **** me if PMII doesn't go to ( insert shittiest possible franchise here ), and light it straight the **** UP.

Maybe a little later, maybe the first year out, but by God he WILL set that franchise on fire, whoever the **** they are.

And god damn, if what he did with Smith was "whispering"? I'd kindly ask him to get his breath the **** out of my ear drums. Or at least not choose any more talent and leave that part to others, yes.

"Credible" would be someone who recognizes that Adam Gase hasn't successfully developed a QB during his 12 years as an NFL coach (assistant or HC).

You still can't name a single QB that Adam Gase has successfully developed in the NFL.

Through your mindless babble, your only arguments have been:

1) Gase has not been given the opportunity to develop a QB (which overlooks the fact he's had the opportunity to work with QB's with FIVE different franchises).

2) Gase has not "failed to develop" young QB's he has worked with. The fact that younger QB's he worked with in Detroit, San Francisco (the year Alex Smith was injured), Denver (pre-Manning), and Miami all failed to develop contradicts your dumbshit/nonsensical statement.

If I were the Jets, McCarthy would not be my first choice, but if the decision came down to McCarthy vs. Gase... I'd take McCarthy.

McCarthy - Developed Aaron Rodgers into a Super Bowl MVP
Gase - Has not developed any young QB's in the NFL

That's so simple even someone like you can understand it.

McCarthy had a Super Bowl MVP version of Aaron Rodgers when he took the Packers job in 2006?

There was no development required for Aaron Rodgers to become a Super Bowl MVP caliber QB?

Dumb.

I think the point your missing is that you have to have a QB that CAN be developed before you can develop them.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with you but McCarty developed Rodgers, who came out raw but with a metric TON of talent.

On the other hand, look at the list of guys you listed for Gase - Alex Smith's backup, Brady Quinn, Tim Tebow, Jay Cutler, and Ryan Tannehill. How is he supposed to develop THAT? There's literally nothing there TO develop.
