Backup at best.
Maybe Spag will permit twists and blitzes.

So does anyone think that Ford could play the Will or Mike LB? He's got the speed and decent coverage skills, Doubt he would be able to hold up as SAM but if Hitchens was Sam, DOD could play either will or mike, and ford the other. Then spags could design some good blitzes for ford, since instead of trying to anchor and beat tackles all day long he could get a variety.

No way is Ford a MLB in a 4-3 and I'm not paying him $16-$17 million a season to be a WLB.

No. He's a one trick pony - fly around the right tackle and get a sack. You get him thinking from the MLB position and you're asking for disaster.

Honestly, if you’re trying to make objective statements about this hire right now, whether good or bad, you’re a ****ing idiot.

There’s a whole offseason to play out. Let’s see what some guys say about it that have played for him. Let’s see if we do make the 4-3 switch, which would be great IMO. Let’s see who is added to the roster.

WORST case scenario, Andy is maybe looking at Spags’ scheme and saying, he’s aggressive so if we do end up giving up a lot of points in a game, maybe it won’t take 12 to 15 plays to do it. No more keeping Mahomes off the field for 2/3 of the AFCCG.

Again, let shit play out. If you don’t like it, maybe provide some actual reasoning to believe it instead of just, “WTF SAME OLD SHIT WE SUCK!!!”....

Like someone else mentioned. Maybe he can make Tanoh and Speaks serviceable to we don’t have 2 giant 2nd round bust staring back at us.

I agree that we couldn't franchise him if thats the plan and he'd have to be willing to take a deal that would work for it. But I think he's got the work ethic and smarts that he COULD do it if he wanted to stay on the team.
