NFT: If you have up to $45k to spend on the next car

Got hit this last week and may have the current vehicle totaled out, which isn't a bad thing since I'm pretty well above water on the loan/value ratio.

So, while I'm waiting to find out if we go the "totaled" route, I would need to move fast on the next vehicle.

Desired Specs
4-5 seater
4 door
Fast (300+ hp)
Looks cool
Car or SUV, not a Truck or Van

Bells/Whistles
Air Conditioned/Cooling seats (it's hot in TX)
Backup Camera
Decent interface/console

Age
Ideally not "Brand New" so I don't eat the cost driving off the lot
If 4-5 years old, then the vehicle better be worth it

Cost
Top end of budget is $45k
Can also be lower for the right car, as it would reduce current car payments

Since this happened out of the blue, what should be on my radar?

Thank you. Yeah Masseratis are gorgeous but I don't know that I can go back to 2008. Max I'm probably considering is 5 years old.

I'll play around on the site, though - good suggestion!

I suppose I'd be open to researching if you've got some you love, but it's a preference for the eventuality of kids and such. But **** it, letterrip

I'm guessing my 93 is out of consideration. What if I drop to $41K and deliver it to your front door?

I'd really prefer the '91 or '92, so unfortunately, I'm out.

Yeah the Audi's exterior styling is...austere.

They don't intend for them to have the flash of the Alfa, for instance.

I worry about mileage more than age, personally. But im use to older cars haha.

And yeah, that was just a quick skim. They have hundreds of cars per event. And you can request a catalog that has details for each car prior to said event.

They get fantastic reviews.

The Genesis G70 (sibling to the Stinger) is said to be a great car as well. I sat in a G90 at an auto show a couple of years back and the build quality was shockingly good. It was the KC Auto-Show and that was the only car I walked out of there thinking "damn, that was a hell of a vehicle..."

Hyundia (via Genesis) and Kia have really stepped their games up in a big way. I'm betting both of those turbo 6s use the twin scroll technology that gives you power way lower on the RPM curve, a lot more low end torque and virtually eliminate turbo lag.

I wouldn't sleep on them at all, to be honest.

With a nice enough roadster, you won't want kids. Then the cost savings of not having kids makes the roadster essentially free.

You can get a 2016 retractable hardtop Z4 roadster for well under your target price. It's only 240 horsepower, but it's not carrying around a back seat and stuff so it'll work great. Plus, I found one in a beautiful Valencia Orange for $33,500. The retractable hardtop is a must-have. I highly recommend it.

You can get a shiny 2017 Red Corvette in your price range. This one is $42,000. I really like that new body style.
