I think 5 more years realistically and 2-3 more SBs.
I don't think he has 10yrs left in him. Everything we read about Andy is that he's an epic workaholic. That all made sense when he was trying to win a SB, but after he has 1, then 2, then 3 SB trophies, that sort of lifestyle at his age (and potential health) is likely to seem less appealing to him and his family. And I'm sure he's the type of guy who would take real pride and great joy in handing the keys to the castle to someone who cut his teeth under him like a Kafka (pretty sure Bienemy will be gone by that point). Regardless, Andy has earned the right to do whatever he wants for however long he wants. |

Andy Reid signed for 5 more years in 2017. I know life can change, but provided his health is okay, I don't think Andy plans on retiring before that contract expires. And all of his comments from this past Super Bowl seem to indicate he really is into this coaching gig for the process, not the rings. So I'd count on him sticking around at least 2 more years.
Next, I know I already brought this up when Don Shula passed away, but Andy is already top 6 all time in head coach wins, and with moderately decent seasons of coaching, he'll be top 5 all time, passing Curly Lambeau on the list. He doesn't care about setting the record, I imagine, but he clearly wants to keep going as long as possible. And man, (knock on wood) but for a guy who eats like shit, never sleeps, and probably loses/gains a range of 50-75 lbs each year, he's in remarkable condition. No heart attacks, no strokes, no bad falls, no cancers. I know old age has a way of exponentially compounding small health problems and turning them into big ones, but with ZERO health crises to crop up with him as we know it thus far, Reid could probably coach longer than people think. Will he? Probably not. But two more years is probably on the docket, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go longer. |

Another 5-year extension seems like a given. After that, we see how his health is doing. |

Would be awesome if that's exactly what happened.
Like, let's say Reid retired after winning another Super Bowl this year, and the job went to Bieniemy. There's not a Chiefs fan among us who wouldn't say that's a good move. As far as Reid assistants go, I think Bieniemy is way up there in terms of his view of coaching as teaching and being a leader who sets expectations for his team and for himself. But we'd lose the experience (for sure) and it's honestly really nice to have such an innovative play designer like Reid. Year in and year out we're guaranteed to design something brand new that teams have never seen before, and we know that because every year teams get caught off guard by that innovation. Bieniemy might be a good designer, but I don't think he will approach being a guy who pushes the envelope quite like Reid does. And that would be fine. With Mahomes, we wouldn't need any of that shit. All of this is speculation, though. Who knows if Andy will last that long, but as long as things are in order, I don't think Andy plans on retiring this year or the next. He knows what he's got now, and he's not going to just let it go simply because it's an appropriate age for him to call it quits, and everybody expects him to stop coaching because he's really fat. |

Yes he does. And I assure you he wants to at least equal BB in SBs(won) if not surpass him. All time wins ? Doubt he gets there but who knows. I think he has another 5-7yrs in him.

He probably has 6 more in him. That is also about the time that Mahomes contract will be renegotiated.

Remember when Andy was so visibly stressed out and irritable during the Marcus Peters and Alex Smith saga of 2017? He had so much stress that he literally had to step back and have Nagy call plays. I think Andy had a lot of stress from his final year in Philly to the end of 2017. That’s all gone now. Andy will never be stressed like that again, and that’s what makes me feel like he could make it 12 years. There is no more stress from helping bad rosters with difficult GM’s and limited QB’s to trying finally win a SB. It’s all done. Andy has been waiting for his unicorn his entire career and he finally got him. And Pat cemented his legacy. Andy’s playing with house money at this point. He’s got his ring and he’ll be top 5 in all-time wins sometime this season. This is heaven for him

I think it will depend on the next 5 years or so, but I really believe he can go at least until 70. Age messes with people in different ways, and a guy who is energetic and vibrant at 63 will probably not be that way at 70. Might be, but I wouldn't bet on it. He'll have some assistant that we all fall in love with who will take over for him in like 6 or 7 years, that's my guess. He's a great man and I hope he does this as long as he feels like he can.
