Dont lose your fingers

So right now the wind chill is forecast to be -15°. At a -19° wind chill frost bite can occur on exposed flesh in about 30 minutes. Lets say the forecasts are wrong and its actually colder than what they are saying, which is entirely possible if snow is on the ground, and we get a wind chill of -19 or below. In this scenario how many drunk idiots are going to lose their fingers because they lose a glove? I just hope it isn't any of you guys!

There's a store in the Oak Park Mall called Sportibles. They had a old letterman style jacket.

I went to KC for a game in November one year with a couple of Raider fans (KC was playing Oak obviously) and it was raining and we didnt have rain gear bc we weren't prepared. Anywho, we go to The Walmart by Arrowhead and it was loaded with KC gear and I was buying all kinds of stuff. My Raider friends on the other hand were shit out of luck. after I bought all my stuff, I looked back at all the cashier lines and I saw my friends buying Glad Trash Bags bc it was their only choice. Very loudly I said so most around could hear me, "Oh Look at the Raider fans buying trash bags...how appropriate!" And you know I called them trash ALLLLLLLL DDDAAAAYYYYYY! And we won too of course!
So guess my point of this story is, if the WalMArt is still there, you can find good gear for cheap

Are these Alpaca socks really worth the $22 per pair price? I have a few pair of wool socks. Really that much better?

-19° wind chill in KC feels like a -19° wind chill in the Alaskan Wilderness. Some people will be standing in the elements for several hours. At the right temperature you dont have to be exposed for very long to get frost bite. It was more of a joke, but lets not act like its impossible.

Had to look that up, but yeah I agree. That place is full of crack heads and tweakers. They also don't keep it stocked too well.

Ive been deer hunting in some pretty cold weather, but I dont think ive ever been hunting in anything like it will be Sunday. So I know wool socks wont be enough. I have Muck boots that are supposed to keep you comfortable in sub zero temps and wool socks and every single time im comfortable everywhere besides my feet.

These seem pretty damn cool though and honestly are much cheaper than I would have expected.
