Mollie Tibbets' father: thanks Latino community

For "helping search" for his daughter. Forget for a moment they didn't find his daughter at all - it was ICE agents who did by catching her killer. Let's hear from this California shitlib:

Mollie Tibbetts’s father thanks Latino community for help in search for her

The father of Mollie Tibbetts, the Iowa college student who was allegedly killed by an undocumented immigrant, thanked the local Hispanic community on Sunday for the support they offered while he searched for his daughter.

"As far as I'm concerned, they're Iowans with better food."

Incorrect, the tragic event was politicized the moment it was released that he was an illegal. It's a hot button topic in politics.

...it's STILL on him.

Meatballs with ham instead of sausage or veal. Sounds worth trying.

As if we can't pull up the countless articles and threads in which conservatives were politicizing it, literally the day they heard "illegal".

The fact that an illegal murdered this girl IS the issue. It's not politicization to talk about criminality among illegals in the context of a story about an illegal committing a crime.

That's the problem with the accusation of politicization...there's no way to address most (any?) issues without there being some sort of political component. I suppose it's the inevitable result of an increasingly "involved" gov't in our lives.

If I have a fundamental problem with a foreign national killing a United States citizen, then I've made it political by default. If I don't, same result.

If I choose not to take a position or attempt moderation, that's still political.

At this point, it's obligatory to accuse everyone else of politicization, and then the real arguments get brought out.

The whole idea of accusing someone of "politicization" is ridiculous anyway. It's just a convenient way for someone to say that you aren't allowed to talk about something that is damaging to their position.

'Politicization' is good. It brings the real issues out front in real terms instead of the theoretical demagoguery that politicians and pundits and talking heads traffic in.

Stop politicizing illegal immigration.

It's only acceptable after gun deaths.

I'm certain had Daddy Tibbets come out and boldly endorsed Trump, liberals would still lecture us to get off the back of a grieving, tho political, father

“Whataboutism” is similar.

Whatabouism is a little different, that's just a "you too" fallacy. You whatabout something in order to dodge the question instead than addressing it. e.g., "But your honor, people have been robbing banks for centuries."

I suppose I should have said that politicization is only a negative if you try to bring it in where it doesn't apply. In this case, the issue is inherently political.

I don't care about the wall.

When people point to the dream of the wall and say that would have saved Mollie, they reduce what happened.

In a smallish town with fake papers working at a reputable Republican farm the disgusting foul piece of shit could have cruised through the rest of his illegal life, had he not killed.

With the wall you still couldn't guarantee that murderers won't murder. It's like saying it all could have been avoided. It blames millions of Americans on Mollie's death.

You can believe that all you want. You can dismiss my voice as whatever, but thats the train of thought. That's how many of us want to smash both sides into a trash compactor.
