Who was the QB when you became a Chiefs fan?

The first one I can remember as the QB watching Chiefs games was Steve DeBerg that would have put me at about 6-9 years old when I became a fan and really started following the team.

DeBerg, but outside of Dawson, Montana and Mahomes, I don’t think anyone became a fan of the chiefs BECAUSE of the QB. I became a fan because of Okoye and the defense led by DT.

Bill Kenny. I actually had to look him up. Back then I was more of a fan of their defense. Guys like Bill Maas, Albert Lewis, Jack Del Rio, Deron Cherry, etc. Liked Stephone Paige on offense.

Really? Have you watched Mahomes play action? He has the ball in the RB stomach and then pulls it out. The linebackers have no idea what to do. That's about as good as it gets as far as play action goes. Deberg was amazing at it, no doubt. But so is Mahomes.
