Amazon Prime Video

Not sure this deserves it's own thread, but damn, there is a lot of outstanding content on Amazon. I've had it for years and never really gave it a shot. The HBO and Funny or Die catalogues alone make it worth the while. The originals are simply value added. I've been watching:

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Eastbound and Down
Zach Morris is Trash

Things in my queue:

Man in the High Castle
The Tick
Sneaky Pete
Jack Ryan

Would like to re-watch:

Sopranos
Between Two Ferns
Justified
Parks and Rec

Anything you'd recommend from Prime Video? I feel like a kid in a candy shop (without the requisite time to actually enjoy all the candy...)

So much this. Every now and then I'll click it open then, when I can't find anything, I'll remember why I don't use it. How can a company with as many competencies as Amazon not know their GUI is shit and fix it?

Whenever I want to watch a B list movie from 7 years ago I'm hopping on though!

But my son watches Daniel Tiger, Clifford and some Paw Patrol we purchased from there so it serves a purpose.

Yeah it’s a pain in the ass sometimes. If you shut off a video half way through, it wont come back up to finish it. You have to goddamned search for it.

It can calculate that I’ll need electrical tape on Nevember 14th 2026, but can’t figure out that I might want to finish watching that movie I shut off at midnight?

But there are some good shows on there. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Bosch and Jack Ryan is pat good money for.

The interface on PS4 is pretty easy to follow. I've never had any issues with it.

Same with the XBOX. No, it’s not as smooth as Netflix, but I’ve never had any issues.

Really sad Sneaky Pete ended after just 3 seasons. That show was awesome and so was the cast.

This is great news! I still haven't been able to finish off Season 5 and I've given it a few more shots, too.

I guess I'll force myself to watch the rest...

I liked the first season of Bosch, but couldn't get halfway through the 2nd before I became uninterested in it.

The same went for that hacker show with Rami Malek

I finally finished Season 5 this past week and I'm five episodes into Season 6. IMO, the program has returned to form.

It wasn't that Season 5 was bad, it's just that it's enough with the undercover drug nonsense, which I found to be too generic for a show with this much content to draw upon.

That was how I saw it as well. It wasn't bad, but Bosch flying off to do the drug thing just seemed like a different show. Get back to the murders.
