I think everyone here knows that. Whether they are fully willing to admit it is something else entirely.

Cleveland is obviously going to win that series. That's beyond obvious regardless of what happened in game 1. There's no way anybody can be all that confident in the Celtics beating the Bulls (especially after what Jimmy Butler did to them tonight).

And what happened to the raptors being better than the Celtics and wizards while we're talking about failed predictions?

Well they finished two games ahead of the Wizards in the ever so important regular season, did they not? My point was always that the three of them (Raptors, Celtics, Wizards) weren't good at all and have no shot at supplanting a motivated Cavs team. Nothing has changed.

They're not winning a championship until LeBron declines significantly or the current Warriors disband anyway. I'm not sure how many years Lowry has left at a high level (it's probably no more than two or three), but if you do get rid of him, the Raptors aren't probably any better than a 45 win team going forward.

He didn't win shit in OKC. He was there for damn near a decade and didn't win. How much longer is he supposed to stay? 15 years? 20?
He was not giving up a chance to win a ring if he stayed with the Thunder. You act like the Thunder lost 0-4 to the Warriors and got blown out every game. They came very close to winning the championship with Durant.

It's not the same to join a super team and win it when you could be the driver and win a championship that way.

How can you join a 73-9 that just beat your team the way they beat the Thunder? Draymond Green kicks your teammate in the nuts and you go join that team. You call Westbrook (who clearly doesn't like Curry) your brother then go join a team with Curry. Talk all this crap about how you love OKC and then leave.

Durant is as fake as they come. He is a selfish prick who can't be trusted.

The NBA is going to continue to suck if players like Durant keep doing this. There is only going to be a few teams worth watching and small market teams will never have a chance to compete because as soon as their star players contract is up they'll go to the best team in the league.

Durant and LeBron both set a bad trend that hopefully will not continue although at least LeBron went back.

Reggie Miller talked about this and explained it way better than I ever could.

OKC is overrated. Westbrooks great season has hidden them as a team. They have a ton of holes that I figured would easily be exposed during the postseason. It'll probably take them years to get back to how good they were with Durant-Westbrook.

Durant leaving really hurt that team but at least they made the playoffs and were able to sign Westbrook to an extension.

Reggie Miller also doesn't have a ring. So what did being loyal get him and why should KD have followed in his example?

Once again, when would it have been okay to leave okc? Since 9 years isn't enough, should he have waited until he was with them 15 years? 20 years?

Reggie Miller explained what it got him in the link I sent.

It is fine to leave OKC but to do it and join a 73-9 team, a team that just beat your team in a hard fought series, is taking the easy way as far as winning a championship and disrespectful to your former teammates. It's also bad for the league because it makes watching only a couple teams worthwhile and I think you saw that with the ratings dip the NBA experienced this season.

That's all I am saying. I'm done talking about it lets get back to talking about the NBA playoffs. It has been pretty good so far.

You need to refocus your anger a bit. Kevin Durant gave you EIGHT incredible years of his playing career. Immediately after leading the Thunder to the Finals, Presti repays Durant by shipping harden off for peanuts. More recently, Presti trades off the other remnant of that "young" core in Ibaka. If Presti wasn't overtly trying to destroy the team, it certainly seemed he was letting Durant know exactly where he stood.

So a FA should go to a bad team instead of going to the best team possible? What ran offers him the same opportunities as GS? The double standard people have for athletes is hilarious. People would drop everything to work at a slightly better company. An athlete does the same and he's a pussy.

So if a mutil-millionaire co-worker who is set for life left the company you both work for a rival company you both used to hate you'd be okay with that? Or if your gf left you for a richer better-looking guy who you both used to hate, again, you'd be fine with that? Yeah right!

A FA should be loyal if an organization has been good to him and want to beat the best not join them. That's just the competitive and loyal nature of my beliefs but not everyone has that and I understand.

I can understand your viewpoint but I hope you can understand mine as well.

With that said f**k Kevin Durant and the Warriors.

You're jilted and upset. I think that is understandable. I think you may also be underestimating the difference in living in San Francisco and OKC; quality of life matters.

series wont be close and this is where OKCs lack of real talent comes into play. Yeah you can win during the season with overpaid spare parts like Enes Kanter but when playoffs come teams will lock it down and expose overpaid bums like that.

Same thing is happening in Boston with their spare parts in Amir Johnson and Kelly Olynyk. Boston is basically Thomas, Bradley, Horford and Crowder for defense and the rest of their rotation is going to get exploited. Robin Lopez eatting them alive.

Uh...Multimillionaires leave their companies for competitors every day. And girls leave their boyfriend for someone better looking and more successful each day.

And why the hell should a FA be loyal to his organization? It's the same organization that traded James Harden because they didn't want to pay him. How much longer is he supposed to stick to an organization like that?

The only reason why Boston finished where they did was because of their consistently high effort level. The playoffs are a great equalizer in that regard. Everyone is now trying hard. That makes a team like the Celtics that isn't all that talented (outside of the few you mentioned) quite vulnerable.
