Will KC kick it into another gear after the bye?

Team should be the healthiest they've been all year for the Raiders game.

Clark is turning into Clark. The gang's all here on offense.

Monday night was subpar but the field and altitude had a lot to do with it.

Is this when the Chiefs start blowing teams out?

Hard to believe the band has never really been all together. Tyreek and Watkins have almost never been on the field together with Mahomes. Same with fisher. Defense has been bad when offense is good. Clark and Jones have been trading injured time.

We need this bye week badly. All signs point to the full crew being together again for Oakland. We will get better. I really hope all the adversity has made us better.

Team needs to get healthy and quit buying their hype. They can run the table if they do. But they have to get over themselves and that includes the coaches.

There’s good and bad to a late bye week.

The good: we’re getting healthy at the right time. We get to refuel and refocus for the stretch run.

The bad: things could go really wrong early and we could be ****ed right now. Seems like we weathered the storm enough to be able to still have a very successful season.

Tyreek and Mahomes have had less than 100 snaps together this season.

If we get comfortable leads in the 4th quarter in ANY of these remaining games, I want LOTS of backups in.

We cannot risk injury.

With key injuries to our best offensive players(Mahomes,Hill,Fisher, etc..) at different times of this season it hasn't allowed our offense to really get into sync IMHO. BUT it is very clear we need Hill in there PERIOD. He is such a difference maker both making plays and being the decoy so that our playbook is fully open at all times. Hill in the line up allows Kelce,Watkins and our RBs to be that much more effective.

My gut feeling isn't good going forward but I hope it is just the fact that they haven't been at full throttle sync all season.

Well, considering that Clark said Miami was the goal, and most of the media and this board all bought into the fact that could be a real possibility, despite overhauling the D....

And boom we were 4-0..then for the lack of a better way to describe it, they've been driving with two bald tires and leaky brakes.

We've seen both the O and D dominate at times, so they HAVE that in them.

I never try to hang a season on one game, but how they play should tell us if they are getting hot at the right time. Gruden has the faid on the upswing, loves beating the Chiefs, and their team actually has playoff aspirations. But this game is huge. Pre playoff pressure huge. From AFCCG to outside looking in huge.

Some say this game is mostly mental, and I tend to agree (makes me mental lol).

They've played like crap at home. I need to see some fire for a AFCC.

Simply put, they need to come out and whoop some faid hiney.

I get your point, BUT our offense hasn't played at full throttle hardly at all this season and I say get them synched up and hit the ground running into the playoffs with high momentum. With all the injuries we've had our backups have had plenty of snaps IMHO.

Couldn't agree more.

Oh how I long for the Marty days of the early to mid 90's defense to show up. I also long for a Marty offensive line to show up and road grade when the need is there.

The Faid play the Jets this week, so they too are on a bye week.. Yes they have to get dressed up like football players and they have to take a flight, but after that they get to enjoy a week in the Pat's high school division.

But I'm not too sure we'll see any special magic that 13 days off would provide. They still have Andy, and he isn't going to change.

I completely understand where you're coming from, but those receivers (Watkins and Robinson) were never going to be consistent "other worldly" caliber players. They have definitive strengths and are vital receivers, but "other worldly" is rarefied air that we can't expect from secondary players

On the surface, it’s been a strange and unpredictable season. But really, none of the results have been that strange. Being held to 13 by the Colts was disappointing, but not terribly shocking, given that Hill and Watkins were both out and they dominated TOP.

Don’t care what anyone says....officiating killed us in the first half vs the Texans. That’s likely a semi-comfortable win if not for several questionable calls and a huge miscue.

Would have beaten the Packers with Mahomes.

Completely outplayed the Titans. Got a bit careless maybe. Thought they could coast in the 4th and it backfired due to some fluke occurrences.

There’s no reason the offense can’t get back to what it was doing early in the year. I think the team is overall more equipped to make a run this year than last (when healthy). Same offensive capability, improved defense. Weaker Patriots team. Baltimore, of course, could be a problem.
