Melissa Ethridge to sing The Anthem

Wonder if she'd like a ride from the airport to Arrowhead in my Subaru?

I saw Ethridge when she opened for the Eagles back in '95. She was awesome. Back then, anyway. I assume she can still bring it.

Do they actually do halftime shows for the AFC and NFC championship games?

Indigo Girls for the Halftime show?

But seriously, this is great. She's a talented, longtime Chiefs fan. She'll do a great job.

I saw her at Madison Square Garden when she was the headline. I think 1994. Wow, I'm old. Good show.

Somebody bring me some water ...

It doesn't really state it in the article, but she is a diehard Chiefs fan and not some casual turd.

I paid to download her "I want to come over" song. Dont know if thats the titile? I remember that feeling of its killing you to be away from someone you desire. It seemed in that song that she really felt that longing at some point. Still didnt like the song itself but I like any music where the singer/band is being "real" as to who they are.
