The NFL has contact tracers on players and practice mask wearing and social distancing. They know who these players were interacting with. Theoretically they shouldn't have to quarantine a whole team.

Serious shit, either Tennessee will be shorthanded going into their game or they'll have to take the L if too many players get it and they can't fill a full team depending on positions affected. I wonder if players and NFL get the quick tests or if they have to deal with the 2 day turnaround time.

I think the most likely option is that the NFL is already looking at how they can swing the schedule around to make it work for everyone. There's already tons of posts by random people on Twitter making schedule changes that would work by swinging teams bye weeks around.

If these end up being false positives, or they go the rest of the week from this point and are fine, I'd say you're probably 100% right.
The honest answer is no one really knows yet. The virus can take some time to show up. If they end up having more positive tests tomorrow or Thursday, then you're probably wrong. We just don't know yet. |

Word now is that they haven't actually shut down until Saturday they are just going through some protocols and testing to decide next steps.
