This golden era of Chiefs football we get to enjoy together.

We were all here when we suffered through the kicker who cant be named, the string of bad coaching, bad teams and the soul crushing playoff losses. Etc. Etc. we all know the bad shit all too well.

We still stayed on here through all that fan pain discussing how we can get better, bitching and consoling each other about our fan pain.

I think, I know we have a special bond as Chief fans. We have paid our fan dues together. We stuck with the Chiefs through thick and thin. SOC started here that put us on a better path. We earned this golden era as fans.

Now, we have the best team in football. A QB on a path to the GOAT. I'm glad I get to enjoy this era with you. Even the assholes.

How unsettling it must be for other teams to see the Chiefs get the piece that they have always been missing. And not just any piece, a quarterback that has physical and mental abilities that other players simply cannot replicate.

I am exactly like you. I used to sit on the damned edge of my seat in the past....say '70s - till Patrick was grabbed in the draft.

I have finally settled my ass down. I haven't thrown anything at the television, I haven't broken chairs (actually happened in the 90s), I haven't yelled at my dogs....

Life is good!

I can't fathom what it would be like watching Mahomes as a fan of another team and wondering what-if.

God the horror. Would be like picking a gal in high school to marry and she turns out to be the world’s biggest bitch and checks in at 450lbs while the gal you could’ve picked turns out to be sweeter than apple pie, stacked like a brick shit house and loves to blow her man upon every wake up.

Luke Combs had my thoughts captured well prior to February 2020...

I've had a large mouth bass bust my line
A couple of beautiful girls tell me goodbye
Trucks break down, dogs run off
Politicians lie, gettin' fired by the boss

It takes one hand to count the things I can count on
There ain't much man, that ain't ever lettin' me down

Long neck iced cold beer never broke my heart
Liking diamond rings and Chiefs football teams have torn this boy apart
Like a neon dream it just don't know me, the bars and this guitar
A long neck iced cold beer never broke my heart

Chiefs is Champs now!!! Heartbreak gone...

I think this closely resembles my gameday anxiety levels. With that being said, I'm expecting at least a couple more SB wins over the next few years. This is the time that we've all been waiting for.
