It was the right call. There's no way we get the TD there. They literally had everyone defending the EZ.

I thought about it but there's no doubt it's a low percentage play. They were literally going to put 7 guys in the vicinity of the end zone, and you can't dare throw an underneath pass and try to run it in.

Meh, high risk scenario with the defense they were running. Too many ways for us to **** it up. Fumble, sack, int, getting tackled in bounds . . .

Andy Reid lost it in the first half. Well with Suttons help the defense couldn't get off the field but Reid tried running the ball and Patrick never had a chance to settle in and get into a rhythm and take control of the offense in the first half.
Again we spotted the patriots 14 point lead in the first half but we outscored them in the second half 31-17 |

He made the right call. It's just too bad the D was gassed and they won the OT toss. If KC wins the toss I think they do exactly what NE did to them.

Was it the right call? I dunno.... I didn't like it personally, though. I know, a sack, interception, or completion in bounds could have ended the game, but I also knew the OT rules, and if Pats got the ball first we'd lose.
We played it safe, played not to lose, and lost. Oh well. |

Yes, it was the right call. The kicker was making his XP's accurately in the middle, so I had confidence in that. Pat was somewhat uneven today, and NE stacked 7 guys in the end zone.
If Butker was having a bad day, then I would had gone for it.

Where Andy screwed up is not calling a timeout on third-and-long in overtime to give the defense a break

When there was 19 seconds they could have ran a ten yard out and had 13ish seconds for a legit shot to the end zone.

We should have milked the damn clock when we had the ball with 3 min left and never gave them the damn chance. Could have avoided Dee Fords shit and the refs bullshit.

Absolutely no brainer in that situation. Take the points to tie the game.
That being said, I think they should have milked the clock inside the 10 just before the 2 minute warning instead of rushing to the line to snap it before the playclock. No reason there at all to try to score fast. They had 2 minutes. |
