ChiefsPlanet Disappearing Text in Tapatalk

I looked to see if this has been discussed, but I couldn't find anything.

After the Pittsburgh loss, I peaced out from CP, saying that I would return when we drafted a QB in the first round. I am not a well known poster, but I have been a member since 2000.

***Edit: Clarification - I just checked out of CP. I never abandoned my team, the Kansas City Chiefs. I still watched every game, and went to some games, but I just couldn't deal with the Alex Smith apologists, and I just didn't see any value to browsing threads that would eventually become a pro-Alex/anti-Alex keyboard throw down, pretty much every time regardless of the actual thread topic.***

Anyway, I use Tapatalk to read and post, and I am having a frustrating problem. I tend to post long comments or replies, and while I am typing, the text turns white and becomes invisible. Using night mode didn't fix the issue.

The text is still there, and I can select all and cut it, so I can paste it into quick memo and finish my long rambling thoughts, but sometimes that's a pain in the ass.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, were you able to find a fix?

Never had that issue and I use Tapatalk all the time. Have you tried to delete the app and reinstall it?

I did, but with no success. It's just an annoying inconvenience. Thanks for your response.

Do you use the free app, or did you buy the pro version?

Biggest issue I have with Tapatalk is the notifications never work. I miss PMs all the time when using it.

I use Tapatalk all time and never a problem disappearing maybe it is
or could be ? You could try . See if that will help with .

The text disappears IN TAPATALK? If that's the case, we have zero control over that. I haven't seen that on Android myself, but Tapatalk is its own animal unfortunately.

I contacted Tapatalk admins in their user help forum. They stated that chiefsplanet is not using the right addon so push notifications are not working here.

Regarding missing notifications... if you're on Android...

Google added some battery saving features that close programs when not in use. This can cause missed notifications. Even if CP has the correct plugin or doesn't need a plugin, you may need to change your phone's settings anyway.

I haven't pursued this specific rabbit-hole but here are some starting points if anyone needs to do it.

Search for info related to "App StandBy" and "Doze". Samsung phones have a related setting called "Unmonitored Apps." Maybe add "Tapatalk" to those search keywords.

Not the issue in my case. I have two other forums I use tapatalk with and I get notifications on those. Its just CP that doesn't do it.
