This was actually the first loss that didn't drive me nuts. I had faith that they would come back and even when the final seconds ticked off, I knew what we had in Mahomes and I was never going to worry again.

It’s absolutely amazing what Brett Veach and Andy Reid were able to accomplish in one short offseason.

Ford, Houston, Scandrick, Bailey, Nelson, Parker - all starters in the Rams game - are GONE.

Chavarious Ward was a Special Teamer.

It’s just unbelievable how they did it in one offseason, which resulted in a Super Bowl victory.

Unreal.

1. Because Tech didn't want many games due to their pathetic defense.
2. Big XII defenses gave up lots of yards and points to everyone. But Mahomes abused that OU defense that night.
3. It was the "system" Any QB could put up stats in that offensive system.
4. He was undisciplined, bad mechanics etc. BECAUSE he was running for his freakin' life most of the time.

Every excuse you can think of was used. It wasn't until teams started interviewing him, looking closer, that they came to the realization he was very good. Thank Goodness he went to a the Chiefs and Andy Reid...

Yeah, I was sitting there watching it thinking the same thing. Spags was a godsend, as is Veach's eye for talent.

This game makes you realize how much better Patrick was in 2019. Down 54-51 with more than 1:30 left in the game. You know he wins this game & he definitely gets the game into OT.

Thats what I was thinking. He doesn't throw those picks now. Consecutive chances to come back ended by balls into coverage. Hill really hurt field position fielding that last punt too.

I find it increasingly difficult to watch games from that season. The defence pisses me off so damn much.

I would rather have herpes than AIDS, so Bob Sutton?

2014 defense was #2 overall, 2015 was #3 overall.

Greg Robinson was always pure AIDS. He NEVER coached a decent defense. He was awful forever.

If it wasn't for those dogshit refs the Broncos would never have won a single SB while he was there.

He did. He read better than Goff.

It’s just he wasn’t as good at the intricacies like finding where that last blitzed was coming, who was bailing, etc.

Watch both 2018 Pats games from that year to see his confusion over their blitz package.

It never meant he couldn’t read cover 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, etc, and rip them to shreds like he did vs. Pitt, Oakland, SF, Tennessee, etc.
