So what moves have been made to clear space that hasn't been reported yet? Spotrac has us over the cap by over 1.5 mil and that's with sherman and robinson listed but no salary counting toward the cap yet.

Overthecap has us over by 255,000 but with 3 less players (sherman and robinson are two of them).

I spent the whole season bashing the value/compensation/salary cap given up for Clark/Watkins but ya gotta take the L on them now. They did in the playoffs what fan favorites like Berry, Houston, DJ, Tamba, Charles could never do. Show up in the playoffs, carry this team when it matters most. Clark/Watkins deserve every penny now. Spent years crapping on Chiefs overpaid players cause they never did anything but mediocrity. Clark changed that trend. Doesnt matter if ya missed on Greedy Williams and cant afford to resign Breeland. Still worth it.

I have thought about this a lot in recent days and imo the best use of our first 2 picks would be to get a linebacker and a cornerback. You fill two positions of need on D and that could very well be enough for us to repeat. I would use the third pick on a running back. Maybe Cam Akers if we are lucky enough he falls that low. We should not use either of our first 2 picks on an offensive player unless a guy like Denzel Mims was still available.

It cant happen at this point. I dont know what the penalty is for being over with your own guys at the start of the league year. But if we tried to sign someone now that would put us over, the league would reject it.
