To be fair to Kelce about the Gronk being better statement. Gronk did get to go against our shit defense while Kelce faced a veteran lead D with decent backers and safeties. Gronk only had 3 catches for 97 yards and 42 of that came when broke dick Ron Parker refused to tackle like a man. Kelce had 5 for 61.

Good analysis as usual George.
I'll start with the obvious, neither Hitchens or Ragland can cover a back and Smith isn't a whole lot better. To top it off, both Hitchens and Ragland either got caught up in traffic or got beat all night long. I think it's time for some Niemann and O'D. Ford was a zero without Houston. I'm not inclined to give him a bunch of cash only to have his stuff beat by a 2nd string tackle. I'm not going to place all the blame on Parker. He had Gronk's number most of the first half. But we can't continue to have John JAG back there with him and expect a different outcome. Dirty Dan looks pretty good to me right about now. We all knew the kid would make mistakes, but that pick in the endzone was a killer. Couple that with at least 2 sure TD misses (Hunt and Hill) and that's the game, Brady magic be damned. To his credit, he put the team on his back in the 2nd half and turned FGs into TDs. It just wasn't enough. Bottom line is we can't continue to give up an average of almost 29 points per game and expect to go deep into the playoffs. It seems to me we've been there before. Whether we stay with the 3-4 or change to a 4-3 or even something else isn't the total answer. Bob Sutton needs to go, period. |

Well done, Mr. gblowfish.
Agree with most. See a couple of things differently. But, diverse viewpoints makes the world more interesting. I realized last night that "no punt" games are going to become more and more common if the NFL continues down this "game theory" path. If you have a great offense and/or a HOF QB with a bunch of refs propping up his legend with some good ol' home cooking, who needs a stinkin' punt? I was disappointed in the way Mahomes came out. Throwing highballs again for 2 quarters or so. He needs to get that under control. Maybe Wally needs to piss him off real good before kickoff. When Mahomes gets pissed, he seems to play much better. Anyway, good 10 things. FAX |

The UGLY was simply. We had the game but, again, it all comes down to clock management. This is the same thing that happened in the play off loss a couple of years ago. We had the ball with roughly 3 minutes and change left and what do we do? Score a touchdown in 12 seconds and give the ball back to Brady with 3 minutes and w/ 3 time outs left. That is a recipe for inevitable victory.
This says it all... Brady wanted quick Chiefs score to get ball back http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-get-ball-back

I bet not. All the Pats have done is hold serve at home this season. They have yet to prove they can win on the road.

What's with the hate on Houston and Berry for being injured? I must have missed something along the way. Yes, they are highly paid and yes each of them was on the sideline for the game.
What do you want them to do? Are we rooting for Berry to come back and blow his Achilles again because that is what it looks like? Do we want Houston to play with a bad hammy so that he can tear it and be out an entire year? I guess that would let us bitch about their pay/playing time even more. It isn't my money so idgaf if they are being paid to stand there or not. Chiefs are 5-1 and nearly beat NE at home with a bunch of backups on an already bad defense. That is something to happy about this season. If you want to aim your misdirected anger away from injured players and toward Andy and Hunt that would make sense. Bitch about Sutton, not the players. If you have season tickets bitch to somebody at Arrowhead about Sutton. Maybe if enough people complain Hunt will realize his bottom line might take a dent.

I get your point. But the point he's making is that 30+ Million $ is not there when the Chiefs need it. With all the controversy over both contracts, especially Berry's, it's well worth mentioning.
