I've always followed this rule, "Never fall in love with the big name, but rather fall in the love with the big play". If the big name and big play 'consistently'( that is key)match up then GREAT ! But to your point, if they don't (a la Fitz- and it sure isn't his fault) then you avoid the big name because there is not consistent big play.

tentatively Josh Gordon
here is the scoring for this league: 0 points for 74 yards or less receiving 5 points for 75 and 2 points for every 25 after the 7f 6 points for 1-9 yard TD 9 points for 10-39 yard TD 12 points for 40+ yard TD I can't ****ing quit Fitz...Skelton is starting this week but I'm just going to stick with my guns and bench him. So it's between Britt and Gordon. I already started Decker, and I'm also starting Cobb. my lineup is: Peyton Manning RGIII Bryce Brown Jamaal Charles Chris Johnson Eric Decker Randall Cobb Josh Gordon Aaron Hernandez Browns Defense Ravens kicker I have Fitzy and Britt on the bench and could start either over one of the running backs but won't do it. I'm really happy how I managed my team this year...it's a super, super competitive league that has been going on for 15 years now...two 12 team divisions...winner of each "league" plays for the overall title in week 17 for a ton of money a guy offered me CJ for Ben Tate around week 5 or so (he had Foster and CJ had been miserable) and then the RB carousel week I ended up with Brown when guys like Parmale and Hillman went before him (got lucky there) and landed Cobb after week 1 I've had the worst possible luck...it's incredible. 8-5 is the worst I could be right now, and I am. It just sucks that I even have a shot of missing the playoffs this week. |

I realize nobody really cares about other people's fantasy teams but here is the look of our two 12 team league league page:
http://www10.myfantasyleague.com/2012/home/48194#0 It's a really cool league with very obscure scoring and super deep rosters. |

basically, you need good QB's to win the league...everything else is gravy...I'd absolutely hate the league if it was my only league but since it's not it is actually my favorite...
super competitive, only 4 teams make the playoffs in a 12 man format...we got 2nd out of 24 a few years back...it really sucked because we built out entire team around Peyton...we had Peyton, Clark, Wayne and Harrison starting every week and that was the year they benched Peyton for week 17 and all of the skill players so we really had no shot in the championship but still received a healthy payout! |

Try this one for an early week 15: QB .2 per 5 yards 6 per passing TD
Rodgers at Chicago or Freeman at New Orleans over the last four weeks Rodgers has 19.7 @ Det, 12.8 @ NYG, 16.9 v Min, 14 v Det.....Freeman has 28.5 @ Car, 10.2 v Atl, 20.3 @ Den, 20.7 v Phi |

I just don't understand why you'd draft Rodgers and bench him...regardless of how great Freeman's matchup is.
Of course in adult leagues with an OP Freeman and Rodgers both start every week...you know, because it is realistic. |

Hootie, go **** yourself AND your 2QB leagues....I won't say "nobody", but very few people give two damns what your whining ass thinks.
I'm leaning that way as well Pest |

someday everyone will see the light
until then you'll have playoff scenarios that involve benching Aaron ****ing Rodgers because traditional leagues devalue the most important position in FFL Tell me a league set up like this doesn't take a lot more skill than a shitty, 1 QB, traditional non PPR league? http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/clubhou...&seasonId=2012 |
