The Browns play everyone tough, and they don't give up a ton of points either. Joe Haden locks guys down, and who knows how that backfield will perform. I'd say chuck a prayer up with Fitzpatrick.

With DMC unlikely to play pick a FLEX - Alexander v. Cincy, DHB v. Cleveland, Myers v. Cleveland or DeAngelo Williams v. KC.

so in a league I'm in we have an auction waiver wire and I only have $10 left out of $100 that was started. I can't believe that I got Bryce Brown for $0. LOL the combination of Adrian Peterson and Brown netted me 57 points. I have ended up with a pretty gangster lineup through waiver wire pickups. I dumped Britt weeks ago to get Shorts and that has been nothing but double digit production, too. Picked up TY Hilton and he is producing just like Shorts. Crabtree is getting it done as well. Basically all my WR's this week had over 100 yards receiving with or without a TD. ****ing going to bench Decker. I watched that game and Manning never looked in Deckers direction. I couldn't believe it. Never progressed his reads was usually throwing on his first look which was Thomas or Tamme.
Here's my box score. Look, Steve Smith has only scored 1 TD all season. The last 3 weeks he didn't get over 60 yards so I benched him. He was against weak defenses against the pass, too and wasn't getting it done. Then he goes off on the Chiefs. FML |

I think I'm going to gamble here. If I win this week I'm going to try and grab Russell Wilson of the waiver wire today and bench Aaron Rodgers next week when he plays against the Bears. Last visit he put out 12 points. Wilson will be in Buffalo next week and the matchup is much more favorable than Rodgers.

Okay, this is really, really important. It's the playoffs. I need to start three of the following five receivers. Which three? They're presented in random order to avoid bias.
Moore, Denarius. Moore, Lance. Jennings, Greg. Johnson, Stevie. Bowe, Dwayne.

I'm not touching that one with a 50 foot pole, Rain Man. I will say no to Bowe...and honestly, how about the waiver wire? Chris Givens? Josh Gordon? I honestly like those two guys better than D. Moore and Stevie Johnson (is he hurt?) I'd say yes to Lance Moore, no to Bowe, and then maybe scour the wire for the aforementioned guys (I really like both this week)

I've been juggling receivers all season. I started out 8-0 because the rest of my team was really strong, but I lost 3 of my 4 running backs and my QB and defense cooled down, so I lost 4 of the last 5. I really need my WRs to come through for me this game. My initial thinking was Jennings, L. Moore, and Bowe. D. Moore has really underachieved the last couple of weeks, and Johnson has been fine, but his two catches last week scared me. Givens does indeed look intriguing.

I feel like Bowe is a solid play with Cassel at QB...because he forced him the ball. Quinn seems to check down a lot or find Baldwin. It's quite odd, really. I wouldn't play Bowe, though. This game, IMO, is going to be like a 13-6 affair. I think both teams are gonna pound the ball to shorten the game and there won't be a lot of passing on either side. Bowe was my one big no and I've never been a Denarious Moore fan. If Stevie Johnson plays I think I'd go with Lance, Stevie + waiver wire guy like Givens.

First week of the playoffs.....
I'm highest scoring team in the league but I'm trying to figure out if I go with my normal starting lineup or deviate and start other players. My current selections are bolded. QB: Choose 1 Matt Ryan @ Panthers Colin Kaepernick vs Dolphins RB: Choose 2 Doug Martin vs. Eagles Jamaal Charles @ Browns Stevan Ridley vs. Texans WR: Choose 3 Julio Jones @ Panthers A.J. Green vs. Cowboys Victor Cruz vs. Saints Pierre Garcon vs. Ravens TE: Pick 1 Greg Olsen vs. Falcons Jared Cook @ Colts DEF: Pick 1 Browns vs. Chiefs Jets @ Jags |

Damn your team is stacked.
Only thing I would possibly change is to replace Charles with Ridley. No one has been running on the Browns since Taylor and Rubin came back. And their defense overall has been great the past 3-4 weeks since getting healthy. I also think the Chiefs fall behind early and that limits Charles' work. Could go either way with those two though so go with your gut. |

Like other guys have said I'd try to avoid Bowe with Quinn starting if I could. He's also going against Haden. One of the few shutdown corners in the league. D. Moore got benched last weekend so not sure if I'd start him and on a short week. And when you consider the Thursday night games have been a fantasy wasteland, I'd try to avoid him. L. Moore is solid, I'd probably start him but meh doesn't excite me either. Stevie...meh. I'd start Jennings with confidence, L. Moore due to your options and Stevie or waiver wire pickup. |

Who do I start at QB?
Ryan at Carolina or Eli vs New Orleans It seems like every time I make a change with these guys I pick the wrong one. |

Ryan seems more consistent. If the rest of your team is strong, start the consistent guy. If you need a lot of luck, start the guy with a higher ceiling (which could be either guy, I guess).
