Those handguns are amazing. Hitting a zombie in the head at 40+ yards with a snub-nosed .38? Sure! No sweat!
Popping one at elevation around 50+ yards with a Glock? You got it... Oh, and the action doesn't slide but they still load the next round and they don't kick either. I'm all about suspending belief but c'mon now. A little effort maybe? |

She told me, "Well honey what you have to understand is that they are better than you." Makes sense. If they can do that with a Glock imagine what they could do with a Sig.

And when the fear rises up in my belly, I use it. Fear is powerful, because it’s been there for billions of years. And it is good. And I use it. And I ride it; I ride it like a skeleton horse through the gates of hell.” |

Minus The Walking Glee bit, it was a good episode. Face peel zombie and armored zombies - quality

Here be mild spoilers, in white.
A. If I can buy that that half-a-basketball was a pregnant woman's belly, I can buy that they were unerringly headshotting zombies with a kickless .38 at range. Whatever. B. Anyone who has been to a campfire with friends knows that the worst part of the night, the fun-killer if there ever was one, is when someone starts croaking out some song, and everyone else stares blankly into the fire, either pretending to be moved, or wishing swift death upon the singer. Ugh. Why, oh why, did they write in that scene? C. I loved the Carol-Darrell scene, and Herschel's one-line shootdown of the Beastly Child's clumsy attempts. Awesome. D. Who else out there, when Laurie was complaining about how no one likes her, was shouting "NO SHIT" at the TV? I was. E. This one's a more major spoiler: I totally called tonight's bite. That's what happens when your actor gets an off-season DUI. F. Is Michonne going to be making that face all season? Very good first episode. |
