Game of Thrones *Spoiler* Thread
There's been some recent confusion with the old spoiler thread, so I'm kicking off a new one for tonight's premiere. This is going to be the one for folks who've read all the books. So anything anybody might want to talk about is in bounds. Suffice to say, if you haven't read the books, you'll probably want to stay out of here until you do...
I'll bump the old spoiler-free thread shortly in case anybody's interested. For future reference the link to that one is here |

I agree duncan, adding the part with robb's wife in the show was a nice way to make it more impactful even for book readers who new what was coming for Robb and Catelyn.
One of the more impactful parts of the Red wedding for me in reading it was the effect on poor Arya (she's one of my favorite characters in the books). Had to watch her dad be killed, then was on her own and scrambling to make it back to her family, and just as she is right there about to be reunited with them, her mom and brother are snatched away from her as well. This line from the books always broke my heart: "I have a hole where my heart should be, she thought, and nowhere else to go." |

Man - if they're planning on portraying Lady Stoneheart in the tv series, they sure are keeping it a well hidden secret.

I guess they could use Beric or the Blackfish in the Frey killing role instead? Neither of them would have any love for Jaime Lannister either as far as what happens in books 4 and 5. |

While half-man watches and laughs. That was a classic scene.

Kind of a cross between this thread and the "I can't believe they're related" thread.
Theon Greyjoy is played by Alfie Allen. His sister IRL is Lily Allen. She even has a song about him. |

They better have Lady Stoneheart in by season's end. That's all I gotta say.
