A 2025 3rd is equivalent to a 2024 4th. That’s a day 3 pick, not “another high pick” according to you. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Go back to your lunches and experiences in the 1980s. |

So yeah, moving up 30 spots would be more than 1 year of Sneed, trading 1st round picks, a 3rd, and not-even-JAG level receiver. Chicago traded a first-round selection (1st) to Carolina in exchange for WR D. J. Moore (3 years, not 1), first- and second-round selections (9th and 61st), 2024 first-round and 2025 second-round selections Hell, when the Chiefs grabbed Mahomes, they had to give up an additional 1st round pick to move up 17 spots just to 10th.

Justin Jefferson is going to want to be THE HIGHEST PAID WR IN THE LEAGUE.
Marvin Harrison would be on a rookie contract. You and Franchise's happy meal deal we would give up a 1st, a 3rd, a WR and the best cover corner in the NFL with Sneed PLUS pay the most expensive contract to a WR. Yes, we only "control" Sneed for 1 year, just like we did with Chris Jones. Worked out OK right? Then you try to tell me my idea is stupid and you and Franchise have agreement that you think your deal is so great. I think you're wearing rose colored glasses. That deal is neither cheap nor great for the Chiefs.

This isn't any generic year as it relates to those top few picks. It's probably one of the deepest top-10 drafts in awhile as well. |

The deal Franchise put forward almost certainly wouldn't be enough for JJ. But there's absolutely no way, shape, or form it would be enough for Marvin Harrison Jr. Everyone on this board would rather have the latter for that comp proposal. But it's not even remotely close. Try to keep up here. This isn't a discussion between our rather having JJ instead. It's your telling him that what he put forward for JJ is anything remotely close to what it would take to move up for 3 in the draft. We don't have rose-colored glasses. You're just blind and don't even understand it. |

If we do trade Sneed it'll be for a 1st round pick in the draft to select a top tier WR prospect, or by a miracle packaging him for Joe Alt

Mahomes is going to have his passing camp and have even more guys showing up now that they have seen what it did for Rice. He will give Veach a group of 5-6 of them that he gives his stamp of approval on after a visit, medicals, combine results etc are factored in.
Veach will order those guys into his “pocket” of guys he targets in the draft. Once that pocket is down to 2-3, he will begin making calls to prepare for a trade up, if needed. I’d be excited about adding a guy like JJ to this offense and agree it would probably make this offense nearly unstoppable, but it would mean we would lose CJ95 for only a comp pick and the trade would also cost us at least 2 firsts and a third. The question here, is would JJ offer us more impact to the bottom line than CJ95 and 2 firsts? I don’t think he would. |

Not whether either was good or bad or indifferent, expensive, cheap, similar to Chris Jones, etc. And seems like you're completely missing the point of 'controlling Sneed'. Trading someone with 1 year left isn't a ton of value, especially if the Chiefs know they can't resign him anyway. You'd need significantly more value than someone the Vikings may see go away after 1 season to trade up to #3.

You started a thread saying the chiefs should pay OBJ elite money, that he deserved it, and that he was too good and too young to let go.
You calling anyone a dumbass is ****ing rich. Never change, dilphag9.

It's another case where several people are all telling you the same thing and you assume it's everyone else who are the idiots.
Are you trashed? It's okay (and recommended) to admit you're trashed when you aren't even following a conversation that you started..... or, just as likely, you poorly stated a point and are now backpedaling.
