Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

I am really disliking everybody who is jacking up prices. Hopefully it settles down.
I like to practice for work purposes and won't be able to afford or find ammo. It's kind of important to practice in my profession. |

It's good to see these jackasses buy AR's or ammo, turn around, and sell it online for twice as much. Good job, some of us non greedy people, can only afford store prices. Nice to see price gouging. If you don't need the gun or ammo than let other people buy it in store.
If people weren't so dumb and waited, people would have to quit trying to rip people off. end rant. |

I do agree with the high cap mags and do think they may limit the purchase of ammo at some point, but I don't think they will get that done right away. I guess time will tell on all of it.

I would guess you are right, at least for now, but a few more nut jobs lighting public places up in the near future could aslo change that IMHO.

Has anyone here ever assembled an upper from a stripped upper receiver? I picked up a stripped upper today, and I can't find a great guide that outlines exactly what parts I need to pick up to assemble it. Anyone have any recommendations of somewhere that lists exactly what I need to pick up to build this out? I assembled a lower with a parts kit, but I'm not finding anything like that for the upper.
