I think they can do it. He's pretty badass when done correctly. Hell, even the Highlander dude in the first MK wasn't bad, IMO.

I hated the first film, but gotta admit that Karl Urban playing Johnny Cage is going to drag me back into watching another MK movie.

Karl Urban was awesome in The Boys, and was absolutely dominated the Judge Dredd role. Still begging for a follow up to that film.

Looking forward to his take on Johnny Cage.
