I was born in November of 71, I'm not far behind you. I became a fan when the Chiefs were the floor mats of the NFL.

But, if they manage to pull off a miracle and the offense carries the defense through the playoffs, Mahomes deserves the ring more than anybody else. This kid makes chicken salad out of chicken crap. He raised my initial hope of a 9-7 team, to a legitimate postseason contender. If the damn defense was just respectable, I'd wager a lot of money on a Superbowl winner.
