Apparently that is how far your football memory goes back to.
When Mike McCarthy became Green Bay's HC, Aaron Rodgers was a second year player who had barely taken any snaps behind Brett Favre and there were questions regarding Rodgers' viability as an NFL QB.
McCarthy deserves credit for developing Rodgers into a Super Bowl MVP. He didn't inherit Rodgers as an established/veteran QB like Gase did with Manning in Denver.

You’re right let’s ignore the last several years of his team and offense underachieving because he
might have had a big role in Rodger’s development. If he is the reason for Rodgers success, then you wouldn’t know it by Rodgers feelings about him and his offense.
Again, you keep shitting on Gase’s results in Miami when McCarthy’s been even worse with an elite QB. I don’t give a **** about what McCarthy did 5-10 years ago.
Gase has as many playoff appearances as McCarthy since he became the Dolphins HC despite his starting QB being average at best and playing in just 50% of the games.
