Seems like everyone forgets that the Arrowhead ticket office usually always has game day tickets available.
Showed up without a ticket to the Thursday night Chargers game and walked right up to the ticket office 90 minutes before kickoff. Paid $165 for row 13, 30 yard line. There was no one around so we gave each of the cashiers a shot of fireball and went and watched the game.
