The Chiefs announced the Haglund's deformity, so that is public knowledge. But at the presser, he was asked about practicing or playing, and he said that he really wanted to play against the Colts, but he couldn't because there are complications that arose, but he said he couldn't share the details.
I have said all along that I felt there was more to the injury, simply because I couldn't see Berry come back from an ACL, an Achilles, and cancer, just to be taken out by his heel injury. Now, I could be absolutely wrong, but I think there must be more going on than just he's not playing because it's too painful.
We may never know the full story, but I hope he can at least contribute one highlight play so he can be remembered as a player that helped us reach the Super Bowl.
