Y'know, in the past 5 or so years, there have been quite a few sports franchises to reach the pinnacle of greatness in spite of their pasts of ineptitude.

MLB: Royals. Need I say more? But also the Cubs and Astros.

NBA: Lebron finally got the Cavs a banner. And **** the Warriors, but I guess it's good to see a dynasty land in a town other than Boston, LA, or San Antonio

NFL: Seahawks and Eagles both win their team's first ever championships.

Rams, Saints, and Chiefs each only have one Super Bowl to their team. The Chiefs would obviously be the most needy franchise of those teams.

If the Royals can ****ing win one, so can the Chiefs now that they've got the best QB in the NFL.
