BCS is a deeply flawed show in that much of it has been boring as shit, particularly the first 2-3 seasons. Some of what kept it alive during that time was seeing a bit of BB, and saying to yourself, "Hey, that's from BB...this is getting interesting!" If someone were to start watching BCS without any knowledge of BB, they would not likely make it past season 1. Getting through Season 2 would be a real stretch.
