I get somewhat of a winter here, just not to the extreme of the midwest, which probably helped with going back to Arrowhead last weekend. The mornings can get down into the 20s for a few months and I'll still just wear a fairly light jacket.
What really got me, and within a matter of only ~6 months after moving, was acclimating to the dryness.... first time back in KC, late May a couple years ago... "only" ~60-70% humidity, and it bugged the shit out of me the entire time, outside and inside.
