JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group so pronouncing it is JayPeg makes sense. But since people want to say things wrong maybe I'll just start calling it a GayPeg.
GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format so I pronounce the G the same way I would in the word graphics.
