Well that could be. And I think today's age of information is part of that. But there's more teens watching porn now than ever before because now it's just a click away. I think it's pretty safe to assume that. Before the internet boom you had to either come across dad's/bro's magazines or VHS tapes. My first porno was Jenny McCarthy's playboy VHS video from like 1994, and I was like 10-11 at the time and watched it at a friend's house. I was an only child growing up until my mid teens when my parents re-married after divorce so I didn't have access to older bro's porn VHS/mags collection like some would have, and my dad was the more conservative type, or he just hid his shit really well. It wasn't until me having America Online and chat rooms 1997ish where I started my online collection of nudes people would send me lol. And the porn sites then were few and far between vs now they're everywhere and even advertising them w/ mainstream commercial airtime (pornhub).
And back then, the 18yrs+ actually meant something. You could hardly access shit unless you had a credit card and proved you were 18. I mean now it's pretty much like this:
