I don't know if it's what he's referring to, but there's a rumor it's already cancelled. Season 2 was extended from 13 episodes to 14; according to the rumor this was to allow them to film a series finale. On the other hand season 1 was also extended (from 13 to 15) so that's not necessarily proof of anything.
