I hope he wins the whole f--cking thing. I know all of you say that's not possible... but I had the exact conversation for a few years with people that said:
- Smith was not capable of leading a team to a winning season, then,
- Smith was not capable of winning a playoff game, then
- Smith will never make a pro-bowl, then
- Smith would not be able to continue his success because the league has figured him out, then
- Smith will not be able to lead the Chiefs out of the cellar,
- Smith would never get the Chiefs to the playoffs, then
- Smith would never win a playoff game with the Chiefs, and of course the final two
- No team can get to the super bowl with Smith under center,
- Smith will never win a super bowl.
So... that's fine, I get that you guys have no faith in him, and
hope he dies in an aids infested dumpster - that's also for some reason on fire - whatever. But I've enjoyed following his career and still think he has enough to check those last two off the list with the Chiefs.
