I saw an article where they did root canals and crowns on a tiger in a zoo somewhere, put gold crowns on it's canine teeth or "fang" teeth. Pretty cool looking.

One of the reasons I went to dental school was a root canal on a tiger. I was a biology major at SDSU. Was thinking marine bio. I stopped by the bio building to check on a test score one evening after a night class. The dentist for the SD Zoo was there doing a presentation for the pre dental club on veterinary dentistry. He showed two cases. One was a root canal on a bengal tiger, and the other was working with a ceramist to restore the end of the beak on a toucan (he pinned it btw and used zoe cement, lol)
