Since the departure of Manning, Kubiak/Elway will never let control of the offense go to anyone else. After Elway's John Fox fiasco with Fox ignoring Elway's suggestions on play calling during the season and prior to the Seattle SB spanking Elway knew he could never hire anyone who would not dance to his music. Elway trusts Kubiak and no one else, hence why they continue to hire D coordinators. Elway especially needs "yes men" in the HC position because Elway will not relinquish total control of the team specifically the offense to anyone who will not follow his offensive mindset. I'm all good with the Fangio hire because Denver will continue to have a good defense which only sharpens PM2 even more and Denver will continue to suck offensively.
