I think the only point of contention was whether trading up to #3 would cost more than Sneed, #32, a 3rd rounder, and some shitty receiver.
Not whether either was good or bad or indifferent, expensive, cheap, similar to Chris Jones, etc.
And seems like you're completely missing the point of 'controlling Sneed'. Trading someone with 1 year left isn't a ton of value, especially if the Chiefs know they can't resign him anyway. You'd need significantly more value than someone the Vikings may see go away after 1 season to trade up to #3.
