The Chiefs stood by and gave Berry every opportunity during his recovery. Berry doesn't want to go anywhere, and I guarantee you we want to make him a Top 3 paid safety in the NFL.
I assume they're going to get Howard inked during the season. If that's the case, we can afford to play a bit of hardball with Sean Smith, and we'll have the franchise tag in our pocket if we need it.
