Who is going blow the whistle on their cash cow...and become famous doing something else? Who is going to cross the mob? Who wants to be labeled a cheater?.... media would destroy their lives. The NFL is the last in line as far as this profession.
Not everyone is on the dole...just vetted players and most definitely the refs. How many times do you see...even after watching from multiple, slowed-down replay angles..make the wrong call? And the ex-ref in commentary booth disagree with it...NFL command center in NY has final say on calls. One central hub to dictate outcomes...
