I watched
Attack of the Clones two nights ago and
Revenge of the Sith last night, before staying up until Midnight to watch Chapter 15 of The Mandalorian and one thing that really hit me was that Obi Wan was just as responsible for Anakin's fall to the dark side as Palpatine.
He asked Anakin to spy on the Chancellor and when Anakin objects, Obi Wan pushed him to follow the Council's orders. The Council also pushed Anakin to betray the Chancellor. Anakin tried to do the right thing when Mace Windu and the other Jedi showed up to kill Palpatine as well.
It's kind of strange that Obi Wan is held in high regard, when he went against the Jedi Code and blatantly lied to Luke on several occasions, yet he's basically thought of as a hero.
