I think the statement is meant more as a reflection of MNF being lower on the food chain than SNF and TNF, and even the CBS/FOX featured late afternoon game.
Looking at last year's MNF schedule, the usual glamour teams... Faketriots, Steelers, Packers, Cowboys were each only on MNF once.
